NIOSH Releases New Guidance on Diacetyl / DAPORS
NIOSH releases new guidance on Diacetyl (And Possibly Other Related Substances - DAPORS). This is an issue that first came to light about 10 years ago after a number of employees in the microwave popcorn industry contracted the irreversible lung disease, bronchiolitis obliterans. OSHA implemented a NEP on this topic about 7-8 years ago as well.
